Debating was at the heart of this year‘s Erasmus+ Project. In groups of three we faced the opponent team. Each member of the two teams hold a four minute speech while the first speaker had the special task to introduce and clarify the topic. One of the most important parts of our debates were the rebuttals in which the speaker reacted to the previous speech. In the final reply speeches each team stated and summed up their opinion on the motion. During the whole debate it was allowed to ask the opponent team questions, also known as points of information. These are meant to distract and weaken the opponent team. Despite that the debates were fair and we all could build up friendships.
