Our last meeting of the Erasmus+ Project took place in Veliko Tarnovo, in Bulgaria in March 2019. Six German students and three teachers went there to debate against the other students from Bulgaria, Portugal, Italy and Turkey. We had to debate about different motions concerning the topic of “refugees”.

The winner of the debates was Bulgaria, we achieved the third place this time.

Besides the debates we also had other items on the agenda, like visiting sights around the city. Every day we all had lunch together. In the evenings we often met with the other students for dinner. Before we flew back home, we spent another night in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

All in all we can say that the project not only improved our English skills, it was also a great experience and on top we made new friends from other countries with whom we are still in touch.
